At BHBS, we specialize in Contracting, Credentialing and Billing Services specifically for Ohio-based Behavioral Health groups, particularly Type 84/95 Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) that are already certified by OhioMHAS and National Accredited. Offering full and/or partial Revenue Cycle Management Services, and EHR Customization for Agencies using Qualifacts’ CareLogic EHR system. An overview of our services offered include:

Contracting Services (Group Enrollment)

• Ohio Medicaid and Medicare Enrollment/Renewals for Agency’s Group and Service Locations.
• Commercial Insurance Enrollment/Renewals for Agency’s Group and Service Locations.

Credentialing Services (Provider Enrollment)

• Ohio Medicaid and Medicare Enrollment/Revalidation for Agency’s Service Providers.
• Commercial Insurance Enrollment/Revalidation for Agency’s Service Providers.
• Assistance with CAQH Licensed Provider profile setup and ongoing maintenance.

Billing Services (for CareLogic Customers)

• Full or partial billing support, including eligibility processing and handling A/R collections.
• Monthly financial reporting and assistance with denials and appeals.
• Recommendations for improving outstanding A/R.

EHR Services (for CareLogic Customers)

• Customizable CareLogic EHR system designed and managed by certified experts.
• Our system is currently used by over 35 agencies and 1,100+ providers, and it’s fully compliant with OhioMHAS, TJC, and CARF.

 Consulting Only Services (Systems and Processes)

• Ohio Medicaid billing and A/R management.
• Ohio payor credentialing and enrollment.
• Guidance on Ohio Medicaid’s historical and current changes (BH Redesign, MCO carve-in, OhioRISE, PNM, OMES/FI).
• Consulting on billing processes, rules, and systems.
• CareLogic EHR setup and maintenance for behavioral health groups.
• Reporting consulting using standard billing data sources like 835 and 837 data.
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes for Ohio providers.
